These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the TixRocket platform, websites, ticketing services, event listings, organiser tools, and related services operated by Decibles Pty Ltd trading as TixRocket (“TixRocket”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TixRocket, creating an account, listing an event, purchasing a ticket, or attending an event booked through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any other policies we publish, including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our platform or services.
Our Services
TixRocket provides an online event ticketing and event management platform that enables users to discover, list, promote, manage, and purchase tickets for events. We may act as a platform provider for organisers and venues, and in some cases may also promote or operate events directly.
We may add, remove, suspend, or modify features, content, event listings, pricing structures, or parts of the platform at any time.
Accounts & User Responsibilities
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to:
- provide false, misleading, or incomplete information
- use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
- attempt to interfere with site security or platform performance
- resell, reproduce, or exploit our services except as authorised
- purchase tickets using bots, scripts, or unauthorised automation
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or create risk to the platform, venues, organisers, or attendees.
Tickets & Bookings
All ticket purchases are subject to availability, pricing, event capacity, venue rules, and verification checks. A booking is only confirmed once payment is successfully processed and a valid confirmation or ticket is issued.
Tickets may be subject to limits per transaction, per person, or per event. Tickets must not be copied, forged, resold in breach of applicable law or event rules, or otherwise misused.
We reserve the right to cancel orders, void tickets, or refuse access where fraud, duplication, payment failure, unauthorised resale, pricing error, or policy breach is suspected.
Pricing, Fees & Payments
Ticket prices, booking fees, transaction fees, taxes, and charges displayed at checkout form part of the total purchase price. Prices may change at any time before a booking is completed.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. By completing a transaction, you authorise us and our payment partners to process the payment and related verification checks.
We are not responsible for losses arising from third-party payment processor outages, bank delays, or card issuer declines.
Refunds, Cancellations & Changes
Refund eligibility is subject to the specific event policy, organiser instructions, venue rules, and our published Refund Policy. Unless otherwise required by law, tickets are generally non-refundable for change of mind, non-attendance, late arrival, or removal due to misconduct.
If an event is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled, or materially changed, refund, credit, or transfer options may apply depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Processing times for refunds may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.
Entry, Venue Rules & Conduct
Admission to events is subject to venue capacity, age restrictions, ID checks, dress codes, licensing rules, security screening, and venue or organiser policies.
You may be refused entry or removed from a venue or event without refund if you:
- fail to provide valid identification where required
- are intoxicated, aggressive, or disruptive
- possess prohibited items
- breach venue rules, safety directions, or applicable laws
- engage in harassment, threatening behaviour, or damage property
Event times, lineups, performers, artists, room access, seating, and venue arrangements may change without notice.
Event Organiser Terms
Organisers using TixRocket must ensure that event listings, marketing content, pricing, venue details, schedules, and event representations are accurate and lawful. Organisers are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, licences, insurances, and approvals required to operate their events.
Organisers must not publish misleading, unlawful, infringing, discriminatory, or offensive content. We may suspend, reject, edit, or remove listings at our discretion where necessary to protect users, venues, legal compliance, or platform integrity.
TixRocket may charge service fees, platform fees, transaction fees, or other commercial charges for organiser services, as agreed or published from time to time.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all platform content, branding, design, text, graphics, logos, layouts, and software associated with TixRocket are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, adapt, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without prior written consent, except as permitted by law.
Liability & Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TixRocket provides the platform and services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that event information supplied by third parties will always be complete, current, or accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, goodwill, opportunity, or data arising from use of the platform, attendance at events, event cancellation, venue actions, or third-party conduct.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Privacy
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using TixRocket, you acknowledge that we may collect, use, and disclose personal information in accordance with that policy.
